The International Network of Training Institutes is a comprehensive platform aimed at unifying the efforts of training institutes and international academies. It provides a modern educational environment that includes remote course registration and delivery, live Zoom workshops, and announcements of in-person training sessions, with the possibility of issuing internationally accredited certificates to enhance trainees’ opportunities in the job market.
The establishment of the Network came in response to the recommendations of the General Assembly of the Union of OIC News Agencies, which emphasized during its fifth session held in Jeddah (15 October 2017) the importance of strengthening the capacities of media professionals through specialized training centers. The project was officially approved during the Assembly’s sixth session (27 January 2025), to include the creation of a network of media training institutes in the OIC Member States and beyond, as a practical step toward building a modern training platform that fosters academic and technical cooperation.
The Network aspires to become a hub for knowledge exchange and capacity building by connecting educational institutions in the Member States and beyond, and by developing innovative solutions that enhance the quality of education and training, in alignment with the Organization’s goals of supporting sustainable development in the fields of knowledge and professional qualification.
